Family Friendly Stay in Prime Location

Overall, this was a really nice place to stay! My family, which included 5 teenage boys, really enjoyed it. It was spacious, clean and well organized. The owners were very responsive when we needed additional towels and had problems with the patio door. The pool at the home was pretty small and there were some old plastic fingernails on the patio that I assume were just overlooked by the cleaning crew. The community pool, wave pool, etc are at their other resort across the main street so you will either have to drive or take a 10 minute walk. We would definitely stay there again for a family vacation!

The stay was okay overall. Upon arrival, we found broken glass from a picture frame on the floor in one of the downstairs bedrooms. I’m not sure how long it had been there, but it was surprising that housekeeping overlooked something so obvious, especially since they reportedly completed a walkthrough before our arrival. After my initial phone call, it took a little over an hour for someone to come clean it up, and the response felt slower than it should have been. Because I was traveling with children, I was unable to use that bedroom for the remainder of our stay out of concern for their safety. The home was advertised to accommodate 10 guests, yet only five washcloths were provided, so we had to purchase additional ones ourselves. The ice maker was also not functioning properly. I also think it should be clearly stated in the listing that the water park amenities require separate reservations and an additional fee. Cell phone reception throughout the area was poor.Wi-Fi worked great

Recently left this Airbnb. I gave a 3 because it wasn’t the absolute worst. The host was very responsive, however their were safety concerns 1. The gate at solara across from the pool/splash pad area only has a decoy car at it and opens for everyone. I was able to enter before registering my vehicle. 2. The fence at the actual Airbnb had a hole cut into it for break in access to lock , this was very scary to find. Although it was fixed the next day, my family and I were nervous to sleep that night. When asked to be discounted for grill due to this we were offered $10 off. Check sliding door each night also, it seemed to be broken and wouldn’t lock, it was fixed next day also. We had to place objects at door the night before. The cleaning really needs to be better, on the outside it appears clean until u look behind the bathroom trashes and then downstairs toilet was the worst of them & towels smelled.
