She responded to my messages quickly willing to help. However, there were quite a few issues from our arrival. This home was offered as an “upgrade” as our originally selected home was unavailable. The home was an upgrade in size but it could use some repairs and improvements. The first thing I noticed about the home is the damp, stale smell. It smells like wet carpet and mold. Several of the towel bars and toilet paper holders were broken off the walls. There was a ceiling leak on the outdoor patio by the pool that caused drywall to fall onto the patio our entire stay. We also noticed there were ants in the kitchen on the countertops. The carpeted areas need to be deep cleaned, if not replaced especially on the stairs. The jets in the hot tub did not function properly and splashed water everywhere. The biggest issue I had was the mold in the upstairs hallway closet ceiling. The house has potential to be a great place to stay but it does need repairs."
